Welcome to the official website for Mariachi Nueva Generación Mariachi Nueva Generación, Inc., a non-profit corporation organized under section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, is the parent corporation of El Mariachi Tesoro de Tucson and the new performing group El Mariachi Corazón de Tucson.
The Board of Directors consists of members elected from the members of both of its performing groups, each of which has its own Board of Directors, Officers, and governing bylaws. It has a one family-one vote policy.
Mission All members of the Board of Directors are deeply committed to music education and the cultural heritage of our musicians. Mariachi
Nueva Generación, Inc. and its performing mariachi youth groups,
Mariachi Tesoro de Tucson and Mariachi Corazón de Tucson, are committed
to:
Developing character by working toward shared and individual goals
Providing opportunities for its musicians to act as cultural ambassadors to the public in Tucson and beyond.

Ralph E. Ellinwood, President (2009-10)
Mr. Ellinwood isn't a musician, but he loves music and
mariachi. He is a native Tucsonan and has been a Mariachi Tesoro parent since 2006; his daughter plays violin and sings with Mariachi Tesoro de Tucson. He has served as Vice President for two years. He is a lawyer and also
serves as the statutory agent of the corporation.
James Hernandez, Vice President (2009-10)Mr. Hernandez is also a musician and has served for one year as President. He has been a Mariachi Tesoro parent since 2007; his daughter is a guitarrista and singer with Mariachi Tesoro. He has another daughter who plays violin with the new performing group El Mariachi Corazón de Tucson.
Mark Bryant, Treasurer (2009-10)
Mark Bryant is new to Mariachi Nueva Generación, Inc. He is the first President of the new performing group organized under Nueva Generación: Mariachi Corazón de Tucson.
Rick Bergeron, Secretary (2009-10) Rick Bergeron has been a Tesoro parent since 2006. His daughter plays the violin and sings with Mariachi Tesoro de Tucson. His son is a guitarrista with Nueva Generación's new performing group, El Mariachi Corazón de Tucson.
