Through performances and fundraisers with the support of family, friends and the Tucson community, El Mariachi Tesoro de Tucson raised money to attend the Las Cruces International Mariachi Conference.
Mariachi Tesoro attended three days of workshops conducted by professional mariachis, played with other youth groups from around the cuontry and Mexico for the opening of Pepe Aguilar's concert, and was one of five groups to perform at the Student Showcase.
