|2009|Save the Date! November 1, 2009
Every year, Mariachi Tesoro de Tucson holds a fundraiser at El Casino Ballroom in Tucson, AZ. In 2009, the fundraiser is November 1st from 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm.
You
can buy Dinner Tickets, which include the small cover charge and a full
meal. For those who want to attend but not dine, you can buy tickets at
the door. Please join us. If you’ve attended Tesoro fundraisers in the
past and want to tell us about your experience or have suggestions for
this year’s event, please post your comments here. Thank you!
We will post information here and on our Blog and Twitter! as to when and where you can buy tickets and how much. We will likely be able to sell tickets online as well.
Not sure if you can make it? We would appreciate donations of any amount, which would apply toward Tesoro’s music education experience.

This year Tesoro raised funds to perform at Disneyland, California, in
February 2009. We want to thank the many highly talented mariachi
groups, including Mariachi Aztlan (Pueblo High School), Redencion with
Dr. Alfredo Valenzuela. and Tucson's award winning folklórico dancers
from Ballet Folklórico Tapatio who will donate their time to help us
raise funds we held our fundraiser at El Casino Ballroom in 2007 and 2008.
In 2008, we raised money for Mariachi Tesoro de Tucson to perform at the Tucson International Mariachi Conference (April 2007) and, with the help of many in the community, we raised enough funds to compete at the San Antonio International Conference in November 2007.
