In 2008, Dra. Romero invited Mariachi Tesoro to open for Los Camperos
de Nati Cano, directed by Chuy Guzman! The Tesoro musicians and their
families were honored and excited to play not only for Los Camperos but
all of their peers attending the conference and a friendly Tucson
audience!
In addition to the Conference, Tesoro played at
weddings, professional conferences, private parties, baseball games for
the Diamonbacks, and many other gatherings. Tesoro performs community
service once a month by playing a full mass for St. Margaret's Church
and in the procession and at Armory Park for the St. Augustin Festival
in Tucson.
